We have members of the club who are available for discussion and support as 'people who have been through it'. These include breastfeeding contact, premature birth contact, IVF contact, special needs contact, triplet contact and bereavement contact. Within the club there is a Loss In Multiple Birth (L.I.M.B.) group which provides support for parents who have experienced the loss of a multiple birth child(ren). We have a range of books available for a loan period of one month. Book topics include the care, psychology and raising of multiples. In addition we also have more general childcare books, a few children's books and some videos. Borrowing is free to all members but we do ask for a refundable $10 deposit from non members. The expectancy program is a series of informal discussion groups for parents expecting multiples. These provide an opportunity for the parents to discuss any concerns they may have, to meet with other parents in similar situations, and to borrow from the library of books and videos. A newsletter is posted every month (except January) to all members and subscribers. The newsletter supplies all the dates and details of up and coming events for the club, members contributions, classified sales and all other relevant information for the club. BACK TO TOP
The club has a number of social activities including monthly coffee mornings for new mothers, coffee mornings for mothers of toddlers and pre-schoolers. Members with teenage and adult children also enjoy the occasional get togethers. There are also mothers' nights out at regular intervals through out the year and an annual family Christmas picnic with a visit from Santa.

The club meets on the first Monday of every month (except January) at the Wallsend Community Health Centre meeting room at Nash St , Wallsend (behind the hospital) at 7:30pm. Meetings usually have a guest speaker, speaking on topics ranging from child raising to tai chi and a light supper is provided afterwards.
